Very handy local store and great that they offer specials. BUT…keep your eye on the cash register as all too often “special” prices register as full prices. Even marked prices on shelves on items occasionally go through the register at a higher price. It happens all the time and leads to time-consuming waits while staff go to check. So…CAUTION: keep an eye on the register!

I love IGA for its quality products and convenience however I am very disappointed in the discrepancies of what items are priced at in the aisles and what is rung up at the register. I have been a loyal customer for 26 years but I am getting fed up. Wrong pricing occurs in IGA’s favour many times. Could the manager please makes sure this stops happening?Customers check your receipts!

I am customer there at least once a week but yesterday I have witnessed the most disgusting behaviour from a manager (or a worker) yelling and disrespecting a woman who tried to do her job. It was beyond what I could have ever expected, I saw the whole interaction and a man was yelling with aggression at her to get out of the store after she asked a question and seemed help from him. Beyond, for one, very uncomfortable witnessing this behaviour from a man and towards a woman, he had zero customer service or professionalism in him and i was disgusted by what I witnessed, it was a horrendous treatment. I hope this woman receives and apology from the store!!! Meanwhile, I will not shop there ever again and I suggest to potential new customers to also steer away!

6 January 2024: I just had to return two punnets of strawberries as they were mouldy. Interestingly, all of the mouldy bits were positioned underneath so you couldn’t see them. Check your fresh food here people, as they regularly have mouldy fruit and veg on the shelf! They haven’t learned since my original review (below). This store used to be exceptional. I would shop here for my fresh food. I don’t know if there’s a new owner but now I find mouldy vegetables out on obvious show, for example. Their standards have dropped. We don’t want to buy mouldy vegetables!!! Some feedback for the owners.

Had an urgent food safety issue with a product just purchased ( fully sealed, opened and was spoiled/full of mould!!! Phoned THREE times left messages !!! NEVER returned calls. Disgusting product care! Disgusting customer care!
